After Years at the Top Online, Chris Moorman Finally Reaches a Venom Final Table
- Chris Moorman reaches his first ACR Venom NLH final table (4,792 entries).
- Both Moorman and Chance Kornuth represent ACR at the final table.
- Top prize is $1.2M despite the $12M guarantee not being met.
There are not many major online tournament milestones Chris Moorman has left to tick off, but one of them has just disappeared from the list.
Moorman has reached his first ACR Venom final table, surviving a 4,792-entry field to make the last nine of the $2,650 NLH Mystery Bounty event.
He returns on September 2 with 76 million chips and 38.47 big blinds, seventh on the leaderboard but comfortably clear of the two shortest stacks.
The tournament carried a $12 million guarantee, and although the field failed to cover it, the final table still has a potential $1.2 million top prize waiting for the eventual champion.
The Leaders Have Plenty of Chips to Work With
JGuayaco has built a 485 million stack, while JasonSpichkin sits second with 326 million. Those two players together hold a sizeable portion of the chips in play.

Moorman starts just behind fellow ACR pro Chance Kornuth, who has 85 million.
With the blinds restarting at 1 million/2 million, Moorman's stack gives him considerably more freedom than the ranking alone suggests. He does not need to find an immediate double and sits only 34 million behind fifth place.
A New Final Table for an Online Poker Mainstay
Moorman reaching a major online tournament final table is hardly a surprise in isolation.
The Hendon Mob currently lists more than $24.3 million in online tournament earnings for the English pro, alongside 15 PocketFives Triple Crowns. His live tournament total has also climbed beyond $11.7 million.
His résumé includes two WSOP bracelets and a WPT championship, while his largest live score came from finishing fourth in the 2023 WPT World Championship for $2,095,300.
Yet the Venom final table had eluded him, until now.
Moorman Isn’t the Only Team Pro Left
ACR also has Chance Kornuth in the final nine, giving the site two Team Pros in contention for its flagship NLH title.
Kornuth's schedule is even more complicated because he has reached the PLO Venom final table as well. He sits fifth of seven there with 31 million chips.
The PLO event attracted 1,238 entries and generated $3.095 million, clearing its $3 million guarantee. The NLH field of 4,792 was large but still left ACR covering part of its $12 million guarantee.
