ACR Poker launches Fantasy League Poker: Vegas

ACR Poker has lunched Fantasy League Poker: Vegas, allowing players to win real money this summer by assembling a fantasy team of professional poker players.

With poker players worldwide looking forward to the 55th Annual World Series of Poker this summer (May 30-July 17), ACR Poker has launched Fantasy League Poker: Vegas.

The competition sees ACR Poker players assemble a 'dream team' of eight poker players from a roster of 120.

You will earn points based on how well your selected players perform at the series.

Entry costs either $20, $100 or $500, and you can enter as many teams as you want.

Your players will earn points that count towards your team’s total score each time they finish in the money in one of the eligible events. The better they do, the more points you will collect earn. 

Leaderboards in each tier will be updated daily, allowing you to track the progress of your team as the action unfolds in Las Vegas.

The budget for each team you enter is $300 in virtual dollars. The cost to you for entry is either $20, $100 or $500, depending on which buy-in tier you choose.

Each of the 120 professional players to choose from has been allocated a value, ranging from as little as $3 to as much as $112. The most expensive players on the list are Shaun Deeb ($112), Daniel Negreanu ($111) and Dan Zak ($109).

The least expensive players on the list are Patrik Antonius, Chris Moneymaker and Allen Kessler, who are all priced at $3.

The cost of assembling your dream team cannot exceed $300. As a guide, the average cost per player to stay within budget should be $37, so use this as a benchmark when picking your eight players.

Overall, you want a balanced team that will play as often as possible. A huge part of the fun of taking part in the ACR Poker Fantasy League Poker: Vegas is being able to follow the action throughout the summer, so you want players who will be entering as many competitions as possible, so that you have something interesting to follow each day, as the competition progresses.
